This program covers all the issues that relate to weight loss.  With a balanced nutrition approach we will help you learn how to change your eating habits, improve your energy levels and control your stress and energy levels.  Utilize a nutrition coach and Calorie King (web program) to help you focus on your eating patterns and establish some good habits.  This program includes lifestyle coaching along with recommendations for calorie intake, meal plans, recipes grocery lists.  Take the guessing out of your diet and get on a plan that you can live with!

The supplements will provide dietary "insurance" help maintain metabolism, mood, energy, mental focus, and improve physical performance and recovery.  Treehouse will provide its' members with education on proven products to help them have a "customized" supplement plan to complement their training program.

 

 

Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR)
Metabolism is the process of converting food into heat or energy.  The rate and efficiency with which the body converts food to energy is referred to as the metabolic rate.  A common method of metabolic rate measurement is measuring the amount of oxygen consumed by the individual.  Every calorie consumed requires a fixed amount of oxygen to be converted to energy.  In short, measuring the rate of oxygen consumption is equivalent to measuring the amount of calories being used.  Thus your (RMR) would be the amount of calories you burn at rest during the day. 

 

The Cardio Coach
The Cardio Coach is designed to gather physiological performance data during a graded exercise test.  During this test, the body is subjected to gradually increasing exercise levels.  The volume of oxygen consumed during these stages is recorded (VO2).  The maximum amount of oxygen that an individual can consume is referred to their "VO2 max" and is a measure of their level of fitness.  Another valuable piece of information that can be obtained for a VO2 test is the anaerobic threshold (AT).  The AT is the level of exercise beyond which lactic acid begins to accumulate in the muscles.  When your body is anaerobic lactic acid accumulates in the muscle and the muscles become fatigued and feel sore.
